As a Man United fan with a sense of humour I think thats quite a funny photo. Fergie is renowned for his mind games and his presence undoubtedly has an effect on some referees at times.
The facts are Torres should not have been sent off for the 2nd card and Hernandez was offside. The reality is that these things happen. I have seen United get many poor decisions and sendings off over the years and yes it does anger you at the time. As for Suarez; sadly he now has a reputation with the officials so getting favourable decisions will be much harder for him. The goal today was a perfectly good goal that should have stood.
As The Truth states Clattenburg is a terrible referee who should have been downgraded years ago. A good ref should be one who you hardly notice until the time comes for them to make a decision, which should then be a correct decision. With Clattenburg you half expect an NFL style entrance as he runs onto the pitch!

iv mentioned loads of decsions were wrong yesterday and saturday as well as the arsenal goal, it happens! and torres could easily have seen red for a high tackle on cleverley! suares could hav had a red card for a tackle at the back of distins leg! evans could have had a second yellow for making contact with torres. loads of bad decisions and it happens every week. and wasnt it drogba a few years ago who scored from an offside position at old trafford which helped chelsea win the league. u cant blame the ref for the winnin goal that was up to the assistant surely! but you can blame him for missing the torres red card and giving torres a second yellow and not giving evans a second yellow. he also booked valencia for diving.

If he's found guilty of a racial slur he should be sacked, simple as but if he's just called them a cunt or summat the Chelsea players should be made to stand in the middle of the pitch and have eggs thrown at them.

We see players giving refs abuse at every single opertunity, you even see the lino's get it over a nothing throw in and if clattenburg is punished for just swearing I hope that the next game every single player who swears at a ref is shown a red card.

jeff winter, former prem league ref, says that if clamityberg is found guilty of using racially abuse language he will never ref another game at any level.

The FA are said to have asked Sky Sports for all their tapes of the match in order to try and ascertain what Mr Clattenburg did or didn't say. Hopefully this can get sorted out quickly and not be something that drags on for a long time. It looks like a job for the lip readers. The other officials should have read everything said by the referee though, as they are all in sound contact with the referee these days.
