Does anybody else find it kind of ridiculous the way qpr are just chucking money around like theres no tomorrow on any available biggish name player?... I hope they get whats coming too them too teach the owners a lesson.... I hope we see them in the rangers position soon...

Yeah they've put a bid in mate i read it was 5m. The echo have Cole and Spearing to leave before friday night as well, Dempsey finally coming in for 7m.

No more ridiculous than Man City or Chelsea in recent seasons-Being honest, they were both teams that were not really title contenders until they were bank rolled by billionaires (this is not meant to sound like a criticism btw).
Man United, Liverpool and Spurs have always been buyers of big names when it has suited them and go back to the mid 90's and Blackburn were at it with Walker's millions.

every team thats won the premier league/old div1 has spent shit loads of money to get the title. 1979 forest paid £1.5m for trevor francis won 2 league titles and the european cup (champions league).

its how the clubs conduct their transfers of players that what really should be looked at.

Id also like to know why is it qpr or sunderland can go buy pretty biggish name players for relitavely low/normal prices, then it seems if liverpool come in for the same player prices suddenly rocket to almost double
