I remember watching Dortmund the season before he left & noitced him & the guy Utd have signed, I didn't understand him going to Real as it was obvious he wouldn't get much time on the pitch.

£5m is silly if this is the case but if we sell possibly Adam or as it may seem depending on what/if Bolton pay for Spearing then that would cover the loan cost.
To be honest I rather we sell Downing for around £8m to someone like Fulham or Sunderland & Adam for £5m & buy Adam Johnson & Daniel Sturridge for about £25m if we can afford it which probably isn't the case.

Adam Johnson has joined Sunderland as for Jay Spearing he should'nt be sold as i've previously stated that I think he's a future captain of Liverpool.

He stood out like a sore thumb at Dortmund Mitchell, was always destined for a huge move. You'll see how good he is when he puts a red jersey on.

I might be out of line in saying so, but Spearing will not be a Liverpool captain, he doesn't have the gusto. I'm not Liverpool fan, but if he makes captain in years to come then he has either improved 1000 fold, or you've gone back that much. He's not a bad player, but not captain material (IN MY OPINION)

Even if ye had that amount of money ye wouldn't get Sturridge

That's a bit out of order to both Fulham and Sunderland, suggesting they'd want to buy Downing !

If Fletcher is worth around 12 - 15 million then Sturridge is worth more than 10 million.

Plus Chelsea wouldn't sell Sturridge, as they only have 2 or 3 strikers, so it would be stupid of them to sell him

They've paid about 8 or 9 million too much for Fletcher i reckon mate. What a price that is for him. If Chelsea brought another striker in, i think they'd sell Sturridge.
