Blade Runner:The Final Cut

Having now watched this mix of sci-fi/neo noir in hd,I can now appreciate how visually stunning this movie is.
Harrison Ford puts in a great performance as his character Deckard.
While watching this film it is hard to believe that it was made in 1982,I would highly recommend this film.

Once Upon A Time In The West

This for me is Sergio Leone's masterpiece, from the fantastic opening sequence at the train station with hardly any dialogue, the sweeping camera shots, the trademark eye closeups, and an unforgettable majestic soundtrack from Ennio Morricone, and great performances from Charles Bronson, Jason Robards and Henry Fonda as the cold hearted killer. One of the finest westerns ever made.

Real Steel

Ok! For me there's a little bit to much smulch, the old father son thing is a little over bearing.
The film for me could have been so much better if they would have toned that side of the film down, having said that the Robot fight scenes were excellent which made the film more palatable.
All in all not a bad watch but could have so much better.

The Island, on ITV1 last night. 8 out of 10.

Wasn't intending to watch it really, and it was a bit boring at first, but stuck with it and was rewarded with lots of OTT stunts and explosions.
Scarlett Johansson looked bloody gorgeous too, which helped. Smile

The Chameleon

Before anyone gets excited,No It's not a sci-fi/reptilian type movie.
It is however a decent thriller based on a true story about the alleged return of a boy who was missing for four years.
The movie takes some strange turns along the way and you do feel a strange sympathy for the main protagonist.
While this is not your average action/shoot em up style thriller it is worth a watch,if not purely because it actually happened.
