christmis special is episode 6 where jenna meets the doctor.

Matt Smith has revealed he will continue to play The Doctor for at least another two years, until 2014.

The big BFI premiere screening for the 1st episode is happening tonight (possibly right this minute).

yep been confirmed today the series starts on bbc1 on saturday 1st september at 7:20pm.
also there will be lots of things happening on tv and off tv in 2013 to mark dr who's 50th anniversary

Doctor Who is going to make Saturday nights worth staying in for again, allways been a massive fan of the series, Season 6 just set new levels. Not only is Doctor Who massive in this country, it's also a hit across in the USA and has global appeal which very few programmes from the UK are capable of doing. Steven Moffat taking over as head writer last season proved to be a master stroke and his style of writing just left you on the edge of your seat at times.
