^^^ I'm probably dead wrong here, but if Portsmouth do go bust, maybe a team that got relegated from League 1 to League 2 such as the team that finished 21st in the table last season will be brought back in Portsmouth's place.

Or maybe Celtic might try and seize their chance and try and take Portsmouth's place

The season will be played with 23 clubs and at the end of the season only 3 clubs will be relegated instead of the usual 4.

I must pass on my condolences to the families of both the late Archie Gibson and the late Jack Taylor that have both sadly passed away. Archie Gibson is a former Leeds United player who played as a wing half for the club during the 1951 and 1960 season. Jack Taylor is widely regarded as the finest referee England has produced and he made history in 1974 by awarding the first penalty in a World Cup final.

My thoughts and prayers go out to both families at this very sad time.

I hope Pompy can survive until at least Thursday. We've got them in a Pre Season Friendly on Wednesday and they are bringing big numbers by the sounds of it.

No, they just play the season with one less team in the league, no-one loses or gains anything that way. If it was midway through a season, it might be different.

There's nothing to worry about. The administrator has said we're not likely to go bust until 10th August.
