RE: Football Banter
just offer money and it is likely Liverpool will agree, the more you think about it why would Liverpool actually loan him out, I mean the big majority of last season he was shit but he is still a good player and is only 23 so Liverpool would look like idiots if they did sanction a loan deal.

Still dunno why Rodgers would say that he would consider loaning him, I mean do you say that for someone that cost a lot of money and in the process dent the guys confidence

Well I don't know what price tag Liverpool have on Carroll, the most I assume we would pay for him would be probably 15 million

RE: Football Banter
This is what the press have jumped all over. Rodgers comments on Carroll. I said to dan g a week or so back that he never once mentions him going anywhere. Only saying how good a young player Andy is and that he'd be assesed like every other player.

Make your own minds up.

Plus Bashocked thats more ridiculous than the 35 million ye paid to us

Thanks GNP for the vid, he clearing says that every player will be assessed. But seen as how Newcastle have made a loan bid for Carroll, Liverpool should come out now and say he is not for sale and it will bury all the speculation

Believe me! Eventually he will be worth every penny of that 35mil,wherever he's playing his football in the next couple of years.

Agreed on Andy's potential worth mate but we'd never get £15m plus Ba from Newcastle for Andy. He might be worth it and they'd be stronger with Cisse and Carroll than they would with Cisse and Ba for me but we wouldn't get it.

Hope this is rubbish (The Carroll part of it) but he's went 1/3 to sign for Newcastle this summer, Demba Ba's gone 5/6 to sign for Galatasaray and Theo Walcott's gone from 6/4 to evens to sign for us on Sky bet.

So,if this were to happen,we would be looking at a 4-3-3 Borini,Suarez,Walcott & Dempsey an alternative option? On paper that doesn't look to shabby and to be fair to Walcott 11 goals & 10 assists last season in 48 appearances was not to bad.
