Yep, RLC/Playboy suddenly cutting night shifts to girls like Lucy Summers & Brook Little shows something is up.

I think all channels are feeling the pinch, hence the hunt for new revenue streams. Especially the big boys with bigger overheads. Can only push up things like connections charges only so much. Won't be long until RLC start with the bigger OSGs and vid selling as well.

I personally think the babe channels are on a long slow death, but perhaps thats me being a bit too doom laden.

Fact - Elite is a shadow of it's former self and is not even close to how it used to be, the very fact they have to bring in top US porn stars to boost rating says a lot for the channel and the UK based models that appear to be contributing to it's downfall.

eh i havent been critical in the babestation section for ages, so that shoots down your comment there. Also other people have been negative about babestation, yet you seem to be targeting just me with this comment. also you said earlier you dont have an agenda against elite. your final paragraph starting with "fact" clearly shows you do have an agenda against elite. no need to personally attack me just cause i disagree with you

oh by the way. all babechannels are a shadow of there former selves, not just elite because of all the changes to the rules etc theyve had over recent years.

regarding clare richards. only seems to be you so negative towards her. for a lot of people she has been great since she started on nights and is their newcomer of the year 2012

You can't really compare what Elite are doing by bringing US girls over to appear on their existing 3 separate live feed channels to what RLC are doing, ie expanding and launching a 5th separate RLC channel that will eventually transmit live from Brasil, RLC already have 4 separate feed channels showing UK girls, presumably RLC call volumes are high enough to sustain 4 channels that show UK girls and no more, if the UK RLC girls weren't bringing in the calls then RLC would probably have used a existing channel to broadcast RL Rio from, but RLC have gone out and purchased a totally new 5th channel EPG slot and air time to use for the RL Rio show to be broadcast from , no Brazilian girl so far has replaced any of the UK girls whereas presumably if Elite hadn't brought over the US girls then existing UK Elite girls or Elite girls that have recently left would be doing the shifts that are now taken up by the US girls.

how do you know the us stars are taking the shifts taken up by the uk girls. as ive said before elite have brought in 5 uk girls over recent weeks. madison, abbee kimberly, beckiie d, ally lou musgrove and jayde summer. so they'll be doing the shifts too probably that have been left empty by elite girls that have left

^ By using common sense, if the US girls had never been brought over then the shifts they have been occupying would i presume have been made available to existing UK Elite girls, or girls that have left may have been offered the shifts now taken up by the US girls, or even more new UK girls set on to cover the shifts now done by the US girls
. If you are not increasing channel numbers but are bringing in new US girls then it stands to reason that these US girls are doing shifts that would have been covered by UK girls .

By the way i'm not against the US girls, i think they have been good for Elite .

Hmm so if Elite employed a permanent US star who did 3/4 shifts a week and was an 'Elite' Girl I doubt anyone would mention this. She would just be one of the gang. Because they rotate around it is suddenly an issue? Most odd.

Do I like all the Guest stars, no. But I do like some (can't wait for Sophie Dee to be on)

But the fact is that they provide a great variety to Elite shows, and obviously must be bringing in calls or this would have stopped by now. (I wonder if the internet portion of calls spikes when they are on? Maybe Elite is generating good revenue from across the pond).

Plus they have added some great new signings as pointed out before, and brought back some Elite favs. Happy days for me

Isn't it funny that back in 2010 at the height of Elite's success that we didn't have a guest US Porn star in sight, maybe that had something more to do with the fact unlike now the UK based model's were deivering the goods. A struggling channel will do anything to boost it's flagging ratings

Shame they didn't have the US girls back then would have loved to have seen them when OFFCOM were not being such arses.

Your second point makes no sense.

If any business is struggling doing anything to increase trade is what they SHOULD be doing. Or are you saying a struggling business just do bugger all continue on the same lines and fold, leaving workers unemployed?

Of course I don't accept that Elite are struggling any more than RLC babestation, etc etc. But I have the feeling your comment was purely there to bait replys (as most of what you post is) rather than from any knowledge and or actual desire to properly discuss it. I have of course foolishly fallen for your ruse, but hey I am bored at work today so what the hey.

If the US stars were all getting naked, everytime they were onscreen, I suspect you would be raving about how briliant it was of Elite to bring them in and what an inspired decision that had made.
