You have a good point gaz, but I don't think many of the women care about these comments, as they know the business they are in, and know the stigma that can follow it. Also, I doubt their family members are coming onto this forum, though it's possible I guess.

How would you feel if you heard people starting rumours that your sister/daughter involved in prositution?

Cause Basically thats all you're doing is starting rumours, in the future somebody, maybe a future employer will google said girls name and come across her name linked witt escorting and make a snap judgement on that girl based on some unfounded rumour.

That's a good point, as all you have to do is Google "So and so escorting in Dubai" and some discussion will be shown, but wouldn't this employer know about their past as either a porn star or babe channel woman??? You'd think that if someone was hiring Ashley or Paige or Jessie Rogers, that they'd know about their past, considering all they'd have to do is Google their names, and presto, lots of nude pics of them would pop up, so do you really think they'd be less likely to hire them if they saw an escorting discussion about them, that wasn't even actual proof of them escorting? I don't think it would be an issue, unless these women were trying to hide everything in the adult industry they've done, and considering most of their careers have been involving them taking their clothes off on live TV, they can't really hide this anyway, unless they work for someone who doesn't have a computer or TV.

I just can't imagine someone denying work to a woman because she's been mentioned in an escort discussion, without any proof or claims that they have in fact escorted, but not denying them work if they've seen all of the live stripping they've done. This is for jobs NOT in the adult industry.

If a ex model applies for a job In the real world she will use her real name, not her modelling name, so unless the company are In the know how would anyone know she's done porn or escorted?

We always hear the same old "Oh it's a fake profile", but we can't always be sure. Some of the women don't want to be on the front page, free to view for all, but how could we know? A bit naive of her to be surprised by someone asking her these questions though. I think for a lot of us, we tend to think women who strip on live TV are more likely to escort than our female dentist. I kind of feel the same way. If someone told me a well known glamour model did escorting, it wouldn't surprise me, but I think it has to do with the visual element of it. We know plenty of females who do non sexual jobs, and so we don't really imagine them escorting, or fit them into that sort of box, but with women who strip for a living and get men off on the phone, it's more easy to place them into or alongside the idea that perhaps they aren't above escorting here and there for some cash. How would this be any different from not mentioning when a 'slip' happens on screen, in order to protect the channels from Ofcom action?

You yourself have supported the idea of keeping quiet about slips that have happened. These are real genuine things that we know have definitely happened. Yet at the same time, you are quite happy to speculate about specific girls being escorts based on nothing more than geography!

I'd say if you know a girl escorts it's fine to mention it. If a girls name or photo appears on an escort site, even if it turns out to be a fake profile, as so many are, it's fine to mention it. But to name specific girls and imply they may escort simply because they are in the glamour industry and go to a certain destination, is highly disrespectful to that girl and shouldn't be done, and shouldn't be tolerated by this forum.
