Mourinho got rid of him, because he wasn't mature as a player at the time and eventually he got frustrated with him. I have watched him throughout his time when with Bayern Munich and he is a very good winger, I think a lot of teams would have him, if he was available on a free transfer right now. On your second question Messi and Ronaldo have missed penalties, does that make them bad players in your eyes?
