Villas-Boas says he was approached by Liverpool but has ruled himself out.

Well I wrote in the football banter thread that Liverpool are reported to have approached Guardiola, Capello, Martinez and Rodgers. What do you think of that list of candidates for the Liverpool job?

The Juventus manager is the way forward.

The Juventus manager is a good manager, but he has no reason to leave. He's already at a big club, won them the Serie A title this season and they are back in the Champions League

Well unless Guardiola has a change of mind about his year off we got no chance there otherwise it would be a no brainer. Capello is a good but short term option and I Rodgers is in the same category as Martinez for me.

I'd say no chance Guardiola would go to Liverpool, but there's no harm in being ambitious and aiming high. Capello is a real possibility though and with all the titles he's won he would be quite a coup for Liverpool.

We're one of the biggest clubs in the world. Guardiola would do well to get a more prestigious job offer throughout his career.

Agreed

There is no way Guardiola will become our manager or even Chelsea's as he chose to walk away from his dream job because he was ' Burnt out ' so he's not suddenly going to take another job.
