Do any of the channels any longer? Maybe at one time they took notice, but not any longer. All there interested in is money.

The only reason there on the forum is so they can try and milk the 50,000 members for all their worth.

I agree. I don't know why people bother to continue to support the Red Light threads here. Chuck 'em all in the twilight zone I say.

that just is not true, this is a quote from the Head of Content at RLC from an email he sent me last week

"we do read the forums and listen to our customer and try where we can to give you guys what you want within the limits of what we’re allowed."

what does cathy have to say about this new 5 min timeout? will certainly not be renewing my membership if this continues to be the case.

My guess would be

Time moves on and the channels are locking down the ability for us to post stream content. With the right software of course you can get around these annoyances they put in our way, but to be honest why should we?

They get effectively free word-of-mouth support via this and other forums, and indeed they even have adverts on this site promoting their channels (e.g. Ava starts on Friday 6th if anyone cares).

We used to have a sort of two-way street relationship with the channels whereby they forgo certain aspects of copyright and allowed us to post. I agree with some comments posted above in that this is all working towards a lack of collaboration with, and understanding of, their customers. Me, I'm no longer a customer as I felt the only way to take any form of stance was to not pay for their services.

Sorry winsaw but would you say the 5 minute timeout for paying customers is looking out for there interests?
