Ofcom Complain To Dutch Regulator

It fucks me right off that we now live in a society that lets people who depend on the government and incapable of parenting have kids.

On a brighter note, lets hope that with Ofcom trying to enforce their views to Nicam, the EU committee gets involved because then I think that our government will be given the kick up the arse that's needed and drag Ofcom back in to the 21st century.

i'd have to agree. it's all well and good us venting on here, but it won't help our cause. i think the best way would be to post on Mumsnet and they would inadvertently help publicise our views, but only if you can show restraint (the giveaway that it wasn't Scottishbloke - no offence intended!). just the fact that this person was on their forum seemed to get them worked up. we need someone that can stay the course without allowing themselves to be provoked.

My baby girl has a tv in her room, she watches ceebeebies or cartoons or whatever...what's the problem with that? Unless you're a mormon of course?

Also they don't have to know how to use a tv remote to accidentally turn on to something they shouldn't... thats why i have parental lock on those channels!
