RE: Ofcom Complain To Dutch Regulator
Considering that it took 15 years of EU pressure to stop the Dutch legally selling videos of sex with animals, I can't see trying to impose sanctions against a tame foreign babechannel being top of their priorities. I think OFCOM may have bitten off more than it can chew here...mrs w (who many of you know is Dutch) suggests that their response might be on the line of: "Krijg de pleuris"!

Ofcom will put all kinds of spin to get what they want, but I would think that this latest move to stop our channels will fall on its face. I can't see the Dutch taking this seriously. There definately is a lack of worldly knowledge being shown by Ofcom if they think that the Netherlands will bow down to them.

'Mumsnet - By Parents, For Parents'

Surely that's sexist, it should be Mums&Dadsnet or Parentsnet.

Of course being self-righteous means they're allowed to be hypocrites bladewave

I just saw this on BBC news at number 4 on the top 10 read artcicles. The main point I grabbed from it was:

'The broadcasting watchdog says channels such as Babestation and Smile TV are accessible by children on Freeview.'

If children are awake at the hours that these channels are available where anything adult is shown, then surely the parents should be to blame for not putting the children to bed. Social services > Ofcom!

agree, its the same with page 3 and lads mags, mumsnet and others kick off about that yet dont kick off about images of men with their shirt off and things like heat magazine's torso of the week and mags that are the same about men

mumsnet have been on bbc breakfast about it this morning

i too think nothing really will happen, first of all its barely registering on newspapers and on tv apart from the odd story, also its not even trending on twitter. also think the uk public as a whole will think for god sake there is more important stuff in the world to get worked up about and the dutch equvalent of ofcom will basically tell ofcom to f*** off

at the very worst think all the freeview adult channels will get moved into one section and pin protection put on it and has to be unlocked so the channels can be watched

Well well Scottishbloke, what have you been up to?

Flirting with the milfs on Mumsnet I see! laugh

The thread is hilarious! 'ScottishBloke' is supposedly representing all the channels and users of this forum, having been elected to do so by 50,000 forum members.

It's pretty obvious to me that someone's impersonating you SB. Could you clear up the matter?

A senior poster of the forum Smile I've been a member of the forum longer than him and made way more posts than Scottishbloke

Has to be an imposter and since when has he been the voice of the forum
