I saw this and at first I was outraged!
On watching the replay very carefully you can see our girl went off line on the straight and then had to curve back in to avoid missing the line markers for the corner. So I do believe it was her fault unfortunately. I'm almost sure the Korean went down on her own, and the Chinese girl who won was last until that point so it does kind of make a mockery of the final result to some extent. I would say let them take the event again, but obviously if they took that approach then it would have to apply to all events and some are much longer runs so it might get silly. Imagine if they took that approach with the Tour de France? The never ending race would occur. It's unfortunate but rules are rules and that's sport I'm afraid at times.

Eve Muirhead' s team are tied in 4th in the standings with Korea, China & next opponents Japan on 2 wins 2 losses.Canada are top with unbeaten 5-0 record, Sweden with 4-1 record &Switzerland with 3-2 record

Switzerland will be a key game for Muirhead and co.
Canada look strong which is no surprise along with Sweden who are always there or thereabouts in championship play.

yeah they shud both possibly go thru u wud think but im hoping the swiss hav a nightmare this morning against russia then i think that wud help us and put the swiss in a crap position! nice to see eve and the team improving still the last few days, as i said i dont mind being wrong about eve and hope they can go all the way, i still think eve and the team can play better as well and think they have much more left to give which is gud they dont have to play their best yet, cos the americans were woeful against them and watching the japan game now it seems to be going gb's way

A good win for the GB womens curling team today. If there is a better looking Olympian than Eve Muirhead then I've not seen her. Eve is gorgeous.

i had skeleton on tv and watched the curling on laptop as well and the british men just got away with it big style against the danes they should have lost but last stone last end and the danes messed it up so gb men now on 5 wins 1 loss so looking gud for the semi finals
