Amir Khan on Channel 5? Good news!!

I bet Sky couldn't wait to get him off their roster!! The bad news?

Yeah I too can see it happening, a commerical break and when you come back someone's been knocked out. Why the hell didn't the
BBC didn't take up the offer of putting boxing back on terrestrial?
at least you could watch the fight in in entirety!! It'll be liks it was with ITV and F1. cutting out for ads at the wrong moment. So if Channerl 5 are going to do it, let's hope they do the decent thing and
not allow ad breaks during boxing otherwise it'll look a disatrous move.

Did anyone see the boxing tonight in Monaco?

Whilst watching the Dereck Chisora v Tyson Fury fight tonight I checked Fury's Wiki page as I thought he got beat by John McDermott & some tool had already change it but for some reason had put his record down as a 12th round KO loss to Chisora, the fight was coming to the end of the first round Live on channel 5 at the time.

The fight was pretty shit to be honest. Chisora did jack shit & Fury was too busy trying to get his face in every camera shot.

Just watched the Amir Khan fight, he won via KO in the 5th. He dominated every round, it was barely a contest. The winning punch, a body shot, was claimed to be a low blow by Zab, but the shot was clearly on his belt and above, so I'm surprised Zab is talking about his 'balls' being hit, which is just sad. If you see the shot, if his balls are that high, they haven't dropped yet! He got schooled, and now, the unified WBA & IBF super-lightweight champion of the world is Amiiiiiiiiiiiiiir Khaaaaan!

Anyone know how you can get round the Youtube problem of videos being Banned in your country on copyright grounds, better still does anyone know where you can watch the Khan fight on the net???

Edit: Just found it. The result was never in doubt although it didn't look like Khan was gonna get a KO unless he stepped up the pace, that said it was only round 5.
You can see where Judah was coming from with the 8 count but it wasn't a low blow it was on the belt of his shorts which is the belly button area & the punch landed nearer the kidney than the nuts.

However Fury's promoter Mick Hennessey is wary of throwing his man in at the deep end too soon, so a match-up with Perez seems sensible.

Prior to his fight with Fury, Chisora had twice been set to fight Wladimir Klitschko before the Ukranian pulled out.

That 10 seconds of boxing was madness: a head butt, a couple of apologetic hugs and then those 2 monster punches! Cannot believe that ref (who is notoriously shit) allowed that...did he even say that they could resume boxing?

I can't remember the fight that ref was in charge of now, but he absolutely ruined it.


That was mental though, the ref looked like he had been on the receiving end of those punches. He was on another planet.
