Hamilton is for now joining him on the front row. But Hamilton may get moved back as he has to visit the stewards.

Silverstone have agreed a new five-year deal with Liberty Media, which will keep the British Grand Prix venue on the Formula 1 calendar until 2024. Otherwise this weeks British GP would have been the last. (certainly at Silverstone)

It was never going anywhere else as no other UK Circuit has the infrastructure in place to hold it. Brands Hatch has already been ruined by the "improvements" made to bring DTM back and Donington had their fingers burnt before and I doubt MSV would be stupid enough to try again.

With Bernie relegated to an honourary role a deal was only a matter of time.

Glad that a new deal has been completed.

It's the British Grand Prix from Silverstone today.

Bottas is on pole and is joined on the front by Hamilton who was 6/1000th behind

Mercedes 1-2. Hamilton won and Bottas finished second.

Haas f1 are a joke and should fold with immediate effect ..
