If I remember rightly. after winning Truss did promise to be a "totally different administration to the previous one" and I feel that hasn't been borne out by the way the budget was presented or the U turn this morning.
I would think while Nad's tweet probably has some truth I would imagine not going to the country probably might have been resulted in a Tory wipeout.
