It is rare for me too support the Patriots but need the Dolphins to lose out and for my beloved Steelers to win both remaining games (plus for the Jets to lose in Seattle today) to make the playoffs. A very unlikely long shot that almost certainly isn't going to happen but in our first Roethlisberger season that was doubtful especially after a 2-6 start. I got my Christmas present with the Steelers beating the Raiders in the 50th anniversary of the Immaculate Reception game on Christmas eve but it would be a great way to start the New Year by beating the Ravens then the Brown's next week to go into off-season at 9-8 with an improving rookie QB would provide grounds for optimism for next season... Except we're in the same division as Joe Burrow and have Allen and Mahomes in the conference too.
^^ New England just beat Miami 23-21 to still have a chance of the playoffs. They have to win at Buffalo next week to secure their place. New York Jets are currently losing 7-0 at Seattle.

Going to watch Green Bay hosting Minnesota now.

Edit: A monster score so far, Packers leading 27-3 - a magnificent 90 yard pass count total from Aaron Rodgers. Smile

Steelers got the results they needed, but importantly got the job done themselves to keep their Playoff hopes alive.

A good old-fashioned ball game, tough defense, & the running game dominating the passing game. Pickett looks to have a bright future.
Two veterans in Brady & Rodgers helped their respective teams to victories. The rest of the NFL would prefer to not see these 2 in the Playoffs.
I ditched the Vikings @ Packers game, & instead watched the 49ers @ Raiders on Red Zone & was rewarded with classic encounter, as the Niners sneaked home in O/T. Worryingly the No.1 defense gave up more points than expected for the 2nd consecutive week. Rookie QB Jarrett Stidham had a standout game as WR Devante Adams starred.

Steelers-Ravens games are usually low scoring defense dominated games and last night was a classic example. Terrible unnecessary roughness call helped the Ravens score a TD rather than a field goal before half time but when it was needed the young Steelers offense stepped up to score the go ahead TD in the kat minute of the game. To be honest, I think that my beloved Steelers won't make the playoffs as the Jets are atrocious but we shall see - that's why we play the games - and I have seen enough promise and progress from Kenny Pickett, Najee Harris, Pat Friermuth, George Pickens and Chris Warren to think that wear on the right path for next season.
The Monday night game between Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals has been postponed for the night after the Buffalo Safety Damar Hamlin collapsed on field following a substantial hit.
CPR was swiftly administered and an ambulance transported him to hospital.
He is said to be in a critical condition.

Sincerest best wishes to him for a full and swift recovery.
^^
My sentiments as well
I see lots of the anti vax trolls are blaming it on the vaccine.

They don't see that it obviously only happened because he was hit in the chest a 16 stone man running at about 20 mph into him. bladewave

Let's hope that he makes a quick recovery.
