Remember the Packer Rumpus? I would like thhis to that scenario

I wonder how they would feel if they played all the events and then they found out there was no prize money?
The LIV rebels are being allowed to play in the Open. Brooks Koepka looks like being another member of their happy band.
^^ Brilliant player, I wonder if all the cash will make him less mardy.
I see Paul Casey is the latest player to sign up.
I had see something online about them being banned from the Scottish Open. Any truth to it and wonder if Wee Nicola had something to do with it? I could see her saying something like 'because you guys are playing for Saudi money - you cannot enter Scotland'
Stenson has been relieved of his Ryder Cup captaincy as he is rumoured to be an imminent LIV rebel.
^^ How ironic that the Ryder Cup is the only professional Golf Event were the players, & in this case captains, don't get paid. It has always been something that every pro wanted to be involved in. The games greatest honour, & a big deal to be selected as captain. very sad.
I do feel the split in golf is a very dangerous one and will take a lot of hard work to bring the two sides together

The LIV guys don't want to be together with their old pals, though. They want more money. The new tournaments won't mean anything like the Ryder Cup and the 4 Majors do.
This reminds me of when cricket had their moment when Kerry Packer started his World Series Cricket. I believe that Greg Norman has also made simular comments.

He brought in a lot of the razzamatazz of what we now know as 20 over cricket.

It left Australia with a second rate test team as most of their players joined the series.
It didn't make much money and it lasted 2 years, and then all players were eligable to play for their countries again.
