Would have put them 2-1 up and in a very strong position. Wouldn't necessarily have won the game from that position though. The decision did look very tight but that's why (in theory if the technology is 100% trustworthy) VAR is being used. To decide those tight decisions.
I thought these semis were played over two legs?
Should be 2 legs really because you think about it it is only 2 games you have to win to win the finals to be crowd Nations League Champion if you miss count the 4 games you have to win to get to the last 4 a bit of a stupid made up competition really.

I like the Relegation and Promotion part of it it's difference because it is something that has never been seen before and i wanted to see the International teams battling Relegation and Promotion like they do in the real leagues but if it was done differently like something like 10 teams in each league instead of 3 teams in each league it would be much better.

And to be honest i don't think the teams was that bothered about the competition mainly because they didn't understand it that was what i saw in the few games i watched.
2I think it's one of the most complicated international soccer competitions ever, I think half the time the teams didn't understand what was going on!! and I agree THE RELEGATION/PROMOTION bit probably was confusing to many, but there is a part of me wonders if it is better to scrap this and the final stages of the European championships and return to a knockout phase after the qual.ifying stages of the championships

from a freeze frame I have seen it was very tight, but it did seem to me, that he was slightly ONSIDE but I would have to see the freeze frame again.
The potential new format of the Nations League sounds like a great idea to me , having an extra tournament and the format always felt like a bad idea to me.

So it now could include the South American teams , blockbuster matches could be made that you don't see every year or every 2 years hence the Nations League.

If they are again using it as an route to qualify for the World Cup something needs to be done about the same South American teams qualifying again Argentina,Brazil and Uruguay and it could also help other South American teams qualify.
Well, England are back to being crap again.
Southgate should just go for what works and stop the tinkering.
Rice with Phillips works, a back 4 works.
Hasn't every England manager tinkered with the side when it hasn't needed tinkering?
