No doubt the truth will be revealed at some point.

Yep, the truth will always come out.

I wasn't suggesting they would but I find it remarkable that OF would think of such a move given the money going to the babes is something guys express again and again as part of what appeals to them OF - they prefer it that their dosh goes mostly to the object of their desire. And as ClassicRock says it would set a principle for other companies to come in for their piece of the pie, something that would harm future recruitment and current retention of babes to their site.

So is it more believable that 66 looked to get consent from the babes first before taking that to OF to attempt a deal?!

Something or someone changed the situation over the last couple of days in any case.
I think some of the girls that leave, might soon start to realise, that the reason they've got so many fans, is mainly, because theyre on national television, and not because theyre so desirable.

Shocking conclusion!Surprised
Some interesting reading above.

I'll break my 'only post if.....' rule for now. I know that the girls are not employees in the standard sense but sub-contractors. That, normally, allows such a person to ply their 'trade' anywhere they chose. But if that were the case one could, theoreticly see any girl one day on s66 and the next on BS and vice-versa. Since you do not then the contract they sign with the channel has, little doubt, an exclusivity clause.

Now the clause could be open-ended and here s66 really see OF as a rival and seek to draw the line.

30%, which, yes, accurately would e minefield to administer is draconian. 'Them or us' is equally draconian.

And the real danger is that which ever way it works could mean that s66 overplay their hand and instead of playing aces they end up with jokers. Or put it another way they really do risk a mass walk out.

There is an easy compromise. No one likes to see their earnings reduced but either of the above do that anyway. If I was s66 management I would propose another. Allow the girls to use OF whilst remaining at s66. The publicity works both ways. But make a small % reduction from the s66 earnings to cover image rights, shared facilities etc.

I would have thought the management would have thought of that in the first place, instead I think they have never really looked for a compromise of any sort, If they were willing to compromise they would have had that ready at the beginning of this episode when the first sent the email. Now we need the babes' perspective on all of this really to see where it is at right now.
Not only that they should be THANKING the girls for their creative marketing strategy on their part.
Well I doubt the 30% was plucked out of thin air. Since 20% was already taken, the 30% simply meant that the girl ends up with half.

For them that would be a 'master' negotiating strategy and would not need Plan B. They did not, I guess, expect more than a couple of girls to leave.

Their own Plan B, if that is really their latest brainstorm, could give even worse results.

Damned if they do and equally damned if they do not.
The ethical answer is for this site which claims to care about the girls so very, very much to withdraw advertising of studio66 and remove links to it's streams until this is stopped. Also for people to both stop watching and stop calling in solidarity with the girls. Though whether anyone would notice less calls is debatable.
^For what reason? Why is your proposal 'ethical'? Business is business, and most of the 'babes' have made money on OF from working on 66. And - in many cases - by making material on 66's set.

66 may be going about getting some kind of restitution in a heavy-handed way, but they aren't the beasts some would have us believe.

Edit: Also, exactly who is supposed to care 'so very, very much' about the 'babes'? And why would they? The 'babes' couldn't care less about their fans or customers, after all.
Let's say you're a plumber, a car mechanic, a carpenter, a painter and decorator etc etc. Monday to Friday you work for an employer. All your neighbours know your job because you drive to and from work in a company van. Occassionally on a saturday and sunday your neighbours pay you to work for them. On Monday morning do you go and give 30% to your employer because the van in this scenario has effectively become an advertisement as S66 seem to be claiming and because your employer has probably paid for your 'training'?
