I was told last night that only 5 girls have said they are leaving over this, we know who 2 are and think we know the 3rd,

I'm not going to dispute what you say Winsaw, but I refuse to believe they are completely separate.
They are publishing under the S66 banner and they are advertised on the S66 website. How is that completely separate? There's still an opportunity here however it works and whatever the link, which most certainly exists.
