If she can just stay injury free Dina Asher-Smith could be the British golden poster girl in Tokyo. I can only see her getting faster. Remember she is only 22 so there is so much ahead of her.
The potential is enormous. She just needs that crucial bit of luck in avoiding injury at the crucial time.
She will be the poster girl no doubt about it. She is a lovely, bubbly girl, great personality and has a great future ahead of her. We've waited bloody ages for someone like her, the like of which has not been seen since the great Kathy Cook(nee Smallwood) who I might add was my very first pin-up before later that was usurped by Samantha Fox!

Delicious Dina ran an absolute stormer last night in Doha at the first Diamond League meeting of the year in the 200m, Took a very good field apart and ran the fastest time in the world this year. Should bode very nice for the World Championships, again in Doha, later this September/October.

Let's hope any drugs testing does not come back positive for her that cold scupper her chances in Doha. I wonder if the championships would used as a test of one of the world cup 2022 sites?
I would think that Dina is not stupid and her coach would know what cold cures can be used and which are banned. That race she won by a street was pure talent and not drug-induced and she could well be a major medal chance, possibly two in the 4x100 as well(assuming she is picked) later this year.
