An alternative spin on this would be Kellie said I’m not working and the other girls thought well we don’t want to then. In which case Kellie and her co-owners could not fill the Xmas roster!

In any case seasons greetings to them

They spoke with there girls who thought it would be good not to be asked to work as they rightly wanted to spend time with there families, vntv felt they deserve it for all there hard work on the channel,
That right there is the vntv ethos nicely in action, look after the girls and they will give back there best to the channel,

Yeah right !BounceBounceBounce
to me, it sounds like they have Southern Trains are one of their main sponsors!!BounceBounceBig LaughBig Grin And I don't need to remind you what sort of problems they have with the RMT do I?

They couldn't force the girls to work against their will anyway, so what other choice did they actually have?

Absolutely None! Xmas schedules are planned well in advance (at BS they start in September) so as to confirm they have the desired number of girls. Most VNTV girls did not even work for them until the last few weeks so may very well have already had plans.
^^ I don't understand where u are coming from mate, the vntv girls where very happy not to be asked to work Xmas and new year, this went down will with the girls that's all I am saying, the choice they had was to ask them to work and they choose not to,
Just seams bit like looking for stuff that's not there, honestly there isn't, vntv are trying to do things differently to other babeshows, they do have an ethos that they apply to everything
^ It's not that big a deal really. I doubt they'd get much traffic over Xmas anyway, just being a webshow, so it probably wouldn't be worth their while.

If it didn't look like you were trying to put spin on everything, nobody would be bothered by them having Xmas off.

Some would say that's VNTV in a nutshell, though SurprisedBlush

But I am not all I done is tell people they where off air, then tell that the girls where happy and why and then explain why they had chosen to do things this way, no spin all I was doing was telling the truth exactly how things happened, I thought people would like to know this,
It seams that how ever helpful I try to be it only winds people up so if I am sorry and please let me know if u don't want me posting up info when I have it, I don't need this ever time I try to be helpful

To be fair though, there was a bit of spin on your part at the end:

These people are running a media channel, not a charity. The idea that they they shut down over Christmas because the staff don't want to work seems a bit 1970s. Can you imagine if The Sun didn't publish for three days because the printers want to spend a bit of time with their family?!

I think people's frustrations on here are born of the fact that you're constantly an apologist for a shoddy output, rather than being constructively critical when it's deserved.
