Well it looks as though Barcelona are not giving up without a fight.

Breaking news. La Liga has rejected an attempt by lawyers for Barcelona forward Neymar to pay his buyout clause of 222m euros (£198m).

Spanish media say La Liga officials believe PSG are violating Uefa's Financial Fair Play (FFP) rules.

If the deal is structured over 5 years it works out to £40m a year, so PSG might be able to squeeze that through the FFP rules.

Nope, Barcelona said they wanted the payment in full.... They've paid the full amount today
how much of that will be lost to football...going in agents pockets and the players huge slice...tax man will be shafted by off shore companies....10 million fans have to buy tickets to pay that....how many does #PSG hold???
^ His agent is his dad. Rolleyes
Football went mad a long time before this nonsense.
He's officially signed, when i heard the rumours i thought it would never happen.

Shows what I know... Messi to United for 400 million next summer.

You don't understand accountancy. PSG can structure the deal in their accounts over the length of the player's contract. It's called amortisation.

It's irrelevant that Barcelona want the payment in full, as that makes no difference whatever to how PSG show the deal in their accounting and in their FFP submissions.
^^ Nope I don't I am not an accountant. But I'll take your word for it Shy
