The size of the salaries paid to some the BBC so called stars defy belief, how the hell can anyone justify paying Gary Lineker £1.8 million a year to present match of the day?

It requires a lot of ability to be a safe pair of hands who can handle interviews, live news feeds, changing storylines and make it look seamless. The BBC have already said they pay less than the competition so just imagine what a knob like Piers Morgan gets at ITV. This rule forcing the BBC to publish salaries was an act of spite by the Conservative Culture Secretary at the time.
