I would take Rashford over sturridge did sturridge play in the first game im sure he didnt he is carrying an injury

Also think drinkwater should go because having the amount of centrebacks we have theres a good possible chance that Dier will have to play up there in one match and we need a solid DM and Drinkwater is much better at that job than Wiltshire and Henderson

im also thinking ross barkley should not go
Sturridge didn't play the first game as he had played in the Europa League final a few days previously , as had Lallana ,Clyne & Milner who also didn't , whereas Henderson who didn't , did play against Turkey . I'd also take him over Rashford as he can pull something out of nothing as he proved with his goal against Sevilla .
I think Sturridge has until Tuesday to prove his fitness I believe as Roy has to name his 23
Australia certainly made England look ordinary at times last night and probably spent more time on the ball than England did!! Just hope Dier's confidence hasn't been knocked too badly by scoring that own goal...

Guys, If you was Roy, would you go with four defensive players or one extra attacking player? I would go with four defensive players
We've only got 3 central defenders in the squad so he can't pick 4, which is a gamble I'm surprised he's willing to take. One thing we all need to agree on before the tournament is that his name is Wilshere, not Wiltshire
how many have to be lost 3?

Would go Thownsend, Delph is already out with injury and im conflicted over sturridge of all the strikers he will prob be one to go home i dont think he will get all the way thru to tournament due to injury. i think rashford has done enough. Will be Kane and Vardy Starting most games Rooney can play in midfield now so will go because of that. rashford come on and use his pace in the last 20 mins.
Lallana's not done much recently. He could get the cut.
Is it possible to some that Rashford is possibly better than Owen at that age?

I agree Rashford has probably done enough to go, but I do think the same as you that he could be used like as a sub for the last 20 mins, but it would be just as crushing to take him and then not use him at all. But I still think that given another year and with maybe a full season under his belt Rashford could spearhead our qualification campaign. I think Townsend is possibly the one who will miss out and I think Roy might take a gamble with Sturridge, and take him and gamble on him being fit and ready for the knockout stages if we make it.
Along with Delph , I'd leave out Townsend & Rashford with Rashford the first player to be called up in case of an injury .
