Randy Savage vs The Ultimate Warrior (WM7,24/03/91)

Loosed must retire match.

Savage put in a herculean effort to carry the Warrior to the finest match of his career. (although the WWF never honoured the stipulation,Savage returned to action in less than a year)this contest delivered drama in spades as The Warrior cleanly pinned Savage and gained revenge on the man that cost him the title at The Royal Rumble.

On a very sad note,of all the people involved in this match, including the referee and the commentators.Only two are alive today, referee Dave Hebner and commentator Bobby HeenanSad
CIMA,Don Fujii and Naruki Doi vs Ryo Saito,Genki Horiguchi and Dragon Kid

No disqualication match for the WWF title.

The first of the 2 times consecutively that The Rock was booed at a WM main event due to the partizan Texas crowd makes this even more interesting.A wild,30 minute encounter punctuated with actual mat wrestling as well as moments of uncontrolled violence.Expertly called by Jim Ross and Paul Haymen.Steve Austin later sited this as the absolute best match he had with The Rock.

Note : Stone Cold turned heel and joined forces with Vince MacMahon but later expressed regret that he didn't call an audible in the ring and change the finish.

Echo everything said about this match, truly phenomenal. WM17 the best PPV ever!!
Taker vs Brock at mania- you guys know the one, just to see the shock on the faces of the fans when that pin went down was incredible
Jerry Lynn vs Lance Storm(ECW Anarchy Rulz,19/09/99

Obviously neither of these guys were ever allowed to shine in the WWF/WWE but this what they missed out on.A cracking, perfectly paced opening match which set the ball rolling for what was, overall a brilliant ppv.

Shawn Michaels vs Kurt Angle(WM21,03/04/2005)

One of the greatest contests ever staged at a wrestlemania.A technical marvel of epic proportions featuring daring highspots from Michaels and superbly, realistic mat wrestling from Angle who eventually goes over clean via ankle lock tap out.

5/5

Note : Angle worked the match in tremendous pain from his neck injuries and only had 30% strength in his arms.
the royal rumble match 2016.

the event was not to bad. just over 2 weeks ago i watched that match wwe is slowly getting back to it's best.

3 out of 5 stars i give that event.

NXT Womens Championship.

Bayley v. Carmella (NXT February 10, 2016).

An average match nothing standing out, will credit carmella that she has certainly improved in the ring as a performer but clear she still needs some work to go though, bayley worked the match well as you would expect.

2.5/5.

Mitsuharu Misawa vs Kenta Kobashi(AJPW,20/01/97)

Pure excellence from two wrestlers who are regarded by most fans as,the most accomplished workers of the 90s.

Intercontinental Title Match

Randy Savage(champion) vs Ricky Steamboat (WM3.29/03/87)

Although the event was headlined by Hogan and Andre the real entertainment came from the upper/mid card at this show(and most others in the 80s)as Ricky Steamboat pinned savage with an inside cradle to capture the I.C belt.Although there has been many superior matches since, these types of ultra athletic epics were seldom scene at Wrestlemanias or on WWF television at this time.
