last wcw nitro

I know its matches thread but just wanna give my thoughts on the last show.... I felt vince and the wwf should have let wcw have their final moment to say goodbye properly rather than the show being used to plug Shane and Vince's match.

Vince's feud with shane could easily have been done on a seperate raw away from the nitro show!

If I remember correctly there was a moment when that commentator schivonee was trying to say goodbye but got cut or sumin.... that was quite bad cuz no one would hear from the guy again.

Sad the way show was presented but whatever vince wants, vince gets i gues!!

I'm 100% in agreement with you Shano.There was plans to run WCW as a sperate company and do interpromotional dream matches now again but,as you adhered to in your post,Vince got cold feet and we got the bodged invasion angle.

An old school battle royal from Feb '87 and not a bad one either.

Just this minute finished watching The Undertaker vs Shawn Micheals Casket Match, from Royal Rumble 1998, for the 1st time.

Great match, as I expected. How did they get Undertaker out of the casket before setting it on fire though?

They use the old trapdoor underneath gag.

I thought so, but wasn't sure.
Imagine if Kane didn't put the casket in the right place? That would've been it!
