I do read Charmaine's Twitter but I could have missed something and there are other social media platforms so I haven't read that she will 'go' at 'the end of this year'.

I only said she was leaving because someone else had said that in a previous comment. I do not now for certain whether she is or not, and the previous poster could have got it wrong as well

It was my pleasure to speak with Charmaine this evening.

In reply to my enquiry she confirmed that she HAS been hired to drive in the Swedish motoring program although she stressed that it's not quite Top Gear.
Charmaine told me that her enthusiasm for cars and motorbikes helped her land the job in addition to her appearance.
She will give us details on Twitter when she's confident and will share her adventures with us.
I did my best to congratulate her for her success in getting into something so exciting.

I also asked Charmaine about her feelings concerning appearing during the day. She confirmed that Studio66's rule is that cougars are night time only.
She remarked that whilst she likes nightshows she regrets losing touch with regular callers with whom she spoke during the day on other channels who prefer not to call at night.
Charmaine said that she would appreciate fan's encouragement of change if desired and I promised to raise this matter in this post.



Charmaine stressed it was her job to speak about whatever the caller desired but that they are people. I regret that I was unable to impress upon her how much I agreed.

I know she has one Insta account but hasn't posted for about 5 years.

I am pretty sure she was the first black/coloured page 3 girl and I remember her from the late 80's early 90's

As Geoffh says, she has been in the modelling industry for a long time. I can recall seeing her in the early 80's in magazines and newspapers.

She has aged really really really well

Wikipedia says she is 47, but seeing how long ago she started, she could well have been only 16 when she first appeared on Page 3, as the rules were then, which would add up.
