how long does it take to upload cos mine is loading about a half hour now

Your upload speed is usually approximately a tenth of your download speed. So if for example, you get 6Meg on an "Up to 8 Meg" line, then your likely upload speed will be 60kbps, meaning that a 100MB file would take around 30 minutes.

The free account you're referring to is called a collectors account. I don't use one as I have a paid for account, but here's some instructions on how to set a Collectors Account up:

- Go to http://www.rapidshare.com/
- From their home page, click on "browse" and choose your file to upload.
- A large "upload" button appears. Click it to upload your file.
- Takes you to a page where it asks you who you want to e-mail the links to
- If you scroll down on this same page, there will be an option that says "create collector's account"
- Click the "+" sign next to "create collector's account"
- Create your collector's account

mine says 100 percent but it is still uploading

I think it does that, ignore it. It should be counting down the estimated time remaining - that's accurate. Is its doing that?

100% (Infinity KB from 203900 KB thats what it says

Underneath that it should say:

Upload speed: x KB/Sec, Time remaining: x:xx minutes

where x are numbers. Does it? What are the numbers?

it does not say anything about time remaining

It says "Infinity" for me sometimes too, it will work if you keep waiting.
