For the past few months she became a lot better at Studio 66, but then midway through one of her recent nights, it was as if she was told to go back to her tame ways (Tame based on her last year at Babestation, not her early days). The expectations by the viewer of Studio 66 and as mentioned Babestation will always be beyond what the girls can or want to offer, the girls by and large are just Glamour Models or if you like “Page3 girls” they are not hard core porn stars, some going further with pseudo masturbation and rarely fingering is the extreme limit of what they are prepared to do, I know we want to see them in full blown action but it isn’t going to happen, as you mention the money extracting tactics of Babestation with Pervecam and the fake sex of Mr P and POV, it is more of a thrill for the ordinary bloke operating the camera getting up close and personal and occasionally getting a bit of a feel of these gorgeous women than it is for the viewer who is only filled with the big green monster and longing to see something that will never happen.
Amanda Rendall and the gang who were on SheBang did the full blown thing, but is it really a thrill to watch a select few of chosen blokes getting their way with the girls, it probably stirs up more angst in the viewer than passion, the Shadow Play that Alice Goodwin did with, what was touted to be her husband was orchestrated to do just that, “Alice and her producer getting filthy” plants the seed of “why is he dong that, why isn’t it me”
It seems that XXPanded has it right just staying with phone-in and pretty girls on the screen, it is after all a one to one with the caller, not a free for all with the surrounding overwhelmingly male workers behind the camera’s.
^ Do you watch Babestation at all? They allow the women to do much more than on Studio 66, and that's why Caty should go back there. Forget about the POVs and interaction, I'm talking about regular sessions, take Lori for example last night doing full hand thong at times, same with other women too at times like Atlanta, Ashley, Alice, Nicole.
Caty is being tamed more than the others, despite being allowed some leniency for the past few months up until about a month ago when she was placed in the time out chair no reason at all.
Caty is a woman who needs to be able to shine, and without being held back by paranoid producers. Tame Caty is like NON sticky toffee pudding, it simply does not make sense. I just want her to kick ass again, and Babestation would at least allow her to do so.

You are spot on about MrP nonsense; I commented along the same lines only recently. The MrP segments take the shows too far from their traditional one to one, babe to user (I see this as a crucial foundation stone that sets the show's appeal apart for all other Adult entertainments) even before we get to the fakery involved. It is not to the shows USP.
And yes some posters and viewers undoubtedly expect too much from the TV shows. But where you go astray is in maligning of mrmann and others who are posting these kinds of criticisms. Note mrmann does not ask for pussy shots or slips or anything of the "full blown action" kind. He merely points out, admittedly with pointed consistency, that some operators and babes offer their callers/viewers markedly better content and visuals than others. The real complaint is not one of overall content levels but instead is about how some show's visuals compare so poorly to others. No one in the industry has ever offered up any answer as to why this would be so - beyond that its up to the girls themselves what they do on their shows.
Even in this day and age, there's an element of truth to the latter statement (it was from the BS boss' q&a on here a few years back) but it remains IMO a disengenious one all the same. It seems to me almost undeniable that the babes nowadays are given more operator specific strictures and conditions in how to undertake their shows than ever before. The blaming of punters for their overeager expectations is a typically babe-like exaggeration to me. 66 bosses are at fault for laying down more strictness of tone for their shows than BS it's as simple as that... For instance, where are the decent POVs for Caty on 66 atm?
So while mrmann and alike are no doubt thinking of their own pleasures when posting, as we all do on here, there remains an uneasy question for the industry behind such posts:
To be specific, Ofcom's regs have not changed in years, so why should Cathy's TV callers get less visual content for their money than they did 4 or 5 years ago? And why is it that Cathy's callers get to see less movement, content and expressiveness than a caller to Atlanta, say, does for his money these days? (I use these babes as examples only; there are plenty of names these two could be switched for.)
A decided uneveness in what a guy gets for his cash is a particular problem for the channels IMO. Simply excusing this by labelling punters as overexpectant just wont wash.
Thank you for your considered and intelligent comment, in no way do I accuse that the punter expects more, I have the utmost respect for both the performers and those who shell out their hard earned cash. My point is the offerings of these channels are limited to what the performers are prepared offer and the draconian rules of OFCOM. As written in my piece the majority of girls are from the world of Glamour, very few from the world of hard core, the basic purpose of the service is to titillate, to expect more is futile, those who produce these shows want us to believe there is more by underhand tactics, only portrayed to con the punter into shelling out more cash - wrong. I have always hated the fact that those who are employed behind the scenes in this environment use their position as some do, to get a freebe by exploiting the genre of the output and that may be happening on BS, the girls who are "lucky" enough to be there through the casting (probably couch process - who knows) want to keep their income and employment from their excellent performances and who do not deserve to be exploited beyond what they are prepared to do through fear of losing a really good career with TV exposure and of course this forum. I am on the side of the girls and us out here. Nuff said.
sorry if i'm hurting any "fanboys" feelings but do you not think it's 99% of the time down to the girl rather than the producers as to what kind of a show you get
, as for sets, most of the shows have various sets if a particular set is not in use then surely it's up to the girl to ask to use it, outfits, as long as the outfit doesn't blatantly break ofcom rules then again the girl can wear pretty much anything, and as for movement/quality of show then again some girls are happy to jump around all over the place getting into different positions and the like, some are just happy to lie on a bed set and do as little as possible to fill their shift in, personally i think Caty has fallen into the last of those options nowadays

You could be right. Perhaps Caty put a lot of effort into her performances and found she wasn't getting rewarded in terms of phone calls, pervecam viewers and ultimately, earnings. Thereafter, she said "fuck it, why should I bother" and went back to doing as little as possible?
