Not true. Considering that Scotland were in pot 4 (based on results) their draw was about average, neither good nor bad.

To be fair I have to agree with that.
When you are in pot 4 there is the likelihood of drawing teams that are perceived to be of a quality to make life difficult.
Scotland could have had an even worse draw looking at who was in each pot.
England admittedly got lucky but to be honest seeing as they were in pot one and two qualify automatically from each group I think they would have needed to have got THE most difficult opposition from every pot to have any real worries.
Now I have said that they will lose every game and finish bottom Bounce Rolleyes.
im gonna bet on a San Marino v Gibraltar Euro 2016 final, what are the odds?

It's available at 100m/1 although some (tighter) bookmakers have got it at no more than 9m/1

But bear in mind that nobody's ever won a football bet at anything more than 1000/1.

Why do you say that? In the current FIFA rankings Ireland and Scotland are both placed higher than Poland.

Fifa Rankings mean nothing at all, Brasil were Ranked about 15 places under swizerland last time I looked at those..
How about a bet on the two semi finals being

Faroe Islands v Gibraltar

and

San Marino v Luxembourg

The odds are so astronomical that I don't think any bookmaker would ever accept the bet, as they could never payout if you won, but you're talking somewhere in the region of 25 trillion to 1. However if you're willing to settle for odds of a mere 20m/1 you should be able to get the bet on, as bookmakers have accepted such bets before.

thats because you been playing nothing but friendlys for god knows how many years
Qualifying will be so easy for the top countries now with the top 2 in each group and 5
3rd place teams going through they might as well scrap the group games and go straight to the finals.

Scrap the group games? Rolleyes

That's a nonsense. Every team should have the chance to qualify for the finals and the top three finish gives smaller nations the chance that they'd craved for ages. It's similar to the stuff I was hearing before with people wanting to "not allow" certain nations to even compete in the qualifying format. Look, football's a global game and the qualifying stages provides more entertainment and a great opportunity for so called "no-hopers" to develop their game. Putting barriers up just denies that development and that's just wrong.
