Quote:England have never played Lithuania, but San Marino have been regular opponents – in 1993 they famously scored after only 8.3 seconds against England after an attempted back-pass by Stuart Pearce.
Looks like Russia got it easy in group G, too.
just remember this old age - there are no easy games at international level any more will these be famous last words?
No not in our case, the team that will cause England any realistic problems will be Switzerland and Slovenia away will probably be a tricky one for them but as for the rest of the countries they are up against, it'll be an absolute cakewalk for them. Us on the other hand don't stand a chance, I've been optimistic in the past about draws but I just know in my heart of hearts that it's going to be yet another hard luck story for us,
UEFA are biased towards Scotland, they've always done their best to make sure of that. The draws don't lie
it doesn't really come as a surprise as the draw is not made at random so it is likely England will get some easy teams from the lower pots, and only one decent or half decent team from the higher pots, unfortunately SB Scotland need to qualify for euro 2016, then for the world cup 2018 they might be in a higher pot and they might draw easier teams, anyway we won't need to talk about Scotland soon
as they will be as relevant to us as france are, i don't get why we talk about Ireland when they are not a part of the uk anyway, it's probably cos they speak english

i detest cliches with a passion
well i couldn't even give a stuff about england really, if someone said to me would you rather see england win the world cup or luton town get promoted back to the football league this year i'd pick luton hands down, anyway im rooting for Gibraltar they might be more british than Scotland soon

Not true. Considering that Scotland were in pot 4 (based on results) their draw was about average, neither good nor bad.
Come on Scottishbloke, it's not all bad. You'll be able to finish above Gibraltar won't you, so at least you won't be bottom...
Only joking dude. Seriously though, you're doing a lot better as a nation these days. Strachan's a good coach and you've got a bit of momentum after beating Croatia home and away towards the end of the WC campaign. If you take that attitude in to the games here there's every chance of a top three finish.
Exactly the same for Republic of Ireland - a new era for them too with O' Neill and Keane. I'm looking forward to the matches between Scotland and Ireland in that group, it's what makes these international games exciting.
