Well Blatter is Swiss and Platini is French..

Switzerland
France
Ecuador
Honduras

Funny that isn't it.........
I would think Blatter told the draw team to give England a hard draw somehow and that happens. England after this tournament should withdraw from the Qualifying competition for 2018 in response as to how we were stitched up over bidding to host the World Cup. And I think even now, Blatter is plotting to give us as hard a qualifying group as possible. I would love to see Ghana do well but I think
the only African that could make it through will be Ivory Coast.

As for England V Italy & England v Uruguay I agree the humidity will be the same for both teams in that game and I think Suarez will not be easy to stop in those conditions as he will relish them more than we will
just hoping St goerges park has an indoor pitch that they can set for heat and humidity that we will face its something we can prepare for. also reckon hodgson should pick as many of the youngsters he can get away with good way of getting the young uns tournament football without the pressure also for the italy game should go for the traditional english game speed and pace with the young kids thats the only hope to get something out of the game
Not to worry, we just send them our ringers :

The humidity in Sao Paulo is usually less than in London. If the match was being played now for example the humidity in Sao Paulo would be 69% compared to 76% in London.

Why don't you ask Geoff Hurst about that? If he'd picked France out one ball earlier they would be in Group D instead of England.

Group G – no question. All 4 teams ranked in the top 24 of the FIFA rankings, easily the most deadly group.

Germany (2)
Portugal (5)
USA (14)
Ghana (24)
The kick-off time of England's first game has been brought forward by 3 hours to 11pm our time.
I doubt if anyone in this country fancied getting up at 2:00 in thee morning to watch it!! If my memory serves me right It is right near the Amazon jungle?
But also if England were to qualify for Russia would some of our games be played at midnight Russian time?

Not neccersarily... Stop basing your life around numbers and percentages... Have you ever be to Sao Paulo it's humid more than london all year unless of a heatwave in london.
