Murray, Farrah or McCoy for me.
Latest odds :

Andy Murray 1/20

AP McCoy 28

Mo Farah 33

Chris Froome 100

Ben Ainslie 150
The BBC could play it clever tonight by chosing the GB Ladies Cycling Team as the 'Team of the Year'. This consists of Laura Trott, Katie Archibald, Elinor Barker and Dani King. They are the world champions as well as setting the new World Record time of 4:26.556.
They would be just winners and also get the BBC out of the hole of not having a woman in the Sports Personality award.

But please don't let it be the England Cricket Team Wink
My top 3 are:-
1) Murray
2) McCoy
3) Farah
Team of the year :- GB cycling Team

Hoping it's the Bantams particularly for the Capital One Cup run. That probably won't happen again.

At least they're not as bad as the Scottish football team laugh
The boy Murray did win tonight and its well deserved for winning Wimbledon this year. Though Mo Farah certainly deserves something for all hs efforts last couple of years.
Murray won it, no surprises there. He was always going to be the overwhelming favourite after ending the almost 80 year wait for a British men's singles champion at Wimbledon.

On another note - I felt a lot of the segments in tonight's show were handled very badly. Too many sections were tackily put together and the sound quality at times was awful. Jokes and singing voiceovers at totally inappropriate times, and there were some names in sport who'd passed away this year that were not even mentioned in the memorium section. First time in a long time that I haven't enjoyed the BBC Sports Personality Award show. It was atrociously bad at times. Sad annoyed
And they took yet another chance to shove Nelson Mandela down our throats.

Yes I agree with every word of that.
It was the poorest SPOTY awards show I have seen in a long long time.
Poorly put together, poorly handled and I also did not agree with the Coach of the year or Team of the year winners either.
And why oh why was Sir Alex given yet another award?
He has had a lifetime achievement award in the past. Enough already Sad.
He will be getting another award for services to retirement next year no doubt Rolleyes.
