EDIT: as soon as i posted that info it was back on.
Well it didn't last long.
It's down again for me, and has been for about 30 minutes.
Ha Ha, now it's come back for me as well.
Though it's showing their fallback recording.
I thought this was supposed to be a 24/7 channel now.
I'm now retracting my above statement.
It would seem they have got rid of the quality settings again.
So what's the excuse going to be this time.
I've herd of Murphy's law, but Jesus, your entire staff must be named Murphy.
Possibly not a problem?
Has every one noticed that the aspect ratio of the picture has changed in the last 2 days from 4:3 (1.33) to 5:4 (1.25)
It is the same for the embedded player and also for the actual web stream if captured.
Its obviously not just me, since the vids posted today by other people are also 1.25:1 ratio.
Its not obvious whether this is what the aspect ratio is supposed to be now or its an error.
Edit @ 8.41pm : I can adjust the playback ratio back to 4:3 in Adobe flash player, but the webstream recordings are still 5:4
I hadn't noticed the aspect ratio, but I had noticed the quality was lower
I cant select it either. Makes me sad considering new girl is on
Update at 21:05 its now working ok.
How frustrating this afternoon/evening has been on Sexstation. Megan and Lexi were engaged in 'hot lesbian action' but it was impossible to enjoy because the quality was so appalling. This is despite it being the 'HD' stream. What an absolute waste: two gorgeous girls performing 'live' for our viewing pleasure, and none of it could be seen properly.
I still think it has something to do with a connection on the main Stream 1 camera. Stream 2 is still consistently excellent quality and - when the Stream 1 babe goes home and they temporarily transfer Stream 2 to Stream 1 - the quality is still excellent (so it can't be the streaming). I've also noticed that the second camera they sometimes cut to on stream 1 is good quality too (which I've said before).
My theory about a loose connection on the main camera was further confirmed this afternoon when the picture broke up and we were treated to bursts of the blank blue screen. It seemed to be movement of the main camera that caused the picture to go off and - when they were obviously fiddling with it to get it back on - there were a few brief periods when the picture was absolutely superb. It was as if wiggling the camera cables affected the picture quality.
In conclusion, can they please check the connections? Or - better still - use the Stream 2 camera/set as the primary. (I really don't mind going to check the connections for them!!!!!!!!) Thanks.
