Fergie is kicking off about this, trying to get the PL to investigate.

The player was out of contract at Utd in the summer and Spurs were interested, and even trialled him, but couldn't agree terms. Utd expected about 6million for him if sold to a premiership club. He ended up going to SL instead for less than a million, made 7 appearances, and now goes to Spurs, again for less than a million.
Fergie reckons it was a deliberate conspiracy to sidestep the rules to get the player on the cheap.

Fergie really is losing this is the same guy that has no problem in waving his cheque and buying everyone else's players. He was doing this to Spurs for years and saying every player has there price, whether its him having a go at other teams or not getting enough fergie time that guy is a control freak. Funny how his forgot to mention that manager at that club was fired and fryers was hardly playing and on top of that was home sick plus Man Utd get a further 5 percent of the transfer. Wasn't this the same fergie that claimed the ball could have killed Van Persie and wanted it looked into lol Bounce
Come on doesn't Wenger like a free transfer? He has to explain why we missed out on holtby because it looks like he didn't even try to get him to come, we got scouts like Grimandi that only find flops, Steve rowley needs to do more aswell
The fryers deal does look fishy, in the summer spurs can't agree compensation yet 6 months later his arriving, it's obvious levy had ongoing discussions with fryers and probably told him to kick off and be a disruption at liege so then they decide to cancel his contract. I'm sorry but liege ain't no small club and in the summer fryers chose to go there and to only spend 6 months there is suspicious
ba looks cheap compared to torresImportantBounce
If the deal is so fishy as people are claiming then why has it taken fergie so long to react to something that he claimed was planned all along and he never realised this after six months till now, remember what fergie was doing with Berbatov when he was Spurs unsettled him to eventually he ended up signing for Man Utd. Fergie could have got Berbatov before he went to Spurs but wasn't interested till he actually was any good, this is the same guy that said Modric was too light weight for the english game and yet as soon as he become good he was all over him.
Secondly when Fryers contract was running out and eventually expired why didn't fergie just give him a short term contact and then sell him. Didn't he do this with Berbatov and then he was sold to fulham?
Standard Liège paid Man Utd £250,000 a fraction of United's target fee because the player was moving abroad rather than between Premier League clubs. Yet Spurs were gonna pay around 3 million and United wanted between 5 - 6 million for Fryers am no expert banker but i know which money i would have gone yet Fergie has no problem paying out loads of money on other teams players, I respect fergie because you can't argue his one of the best managers in the world and track record is second to none but the guy is a bully and now thinks his bigger then game of football it self.
