I can just see it now.
Tammy Taylor and Ferny Babes v Kandi Kay and Kelly Brook with cw as the umpireBounceBig Grin.
The NBA! Sad
As far as I can remember, the NHL is covered by ESPN I believe, (when I had Virgin media) but would like to see a decent UFC highlights show on freeview somewhere. And I'd love to see more terrestial channels giving time to women's soccer and I think after how well the women performed in the Olympics (they went further than the men did I seem to recall) I think they deserve it especially now as they got to the Euro finals again. I'm pleased C5 doing boxing, uswed to love it on ITV, back in the halycon days of Benn V Eubank etc. I hope thy do get hte chance to show more world title figfhts on terrestial tv. And i hope if there is a chance of British UFC title fight in the next year, I hope C5 will do decent coverege of that too.
The problem with covering Baseball is that the key games are scheduled for US primetime and don't start until well after midnight in the UK.

C5 used to show two or three games a week a few years ago, including the world series, but viewing figures were disappointing and they didn't bid for the rights when the contract was renewed (ESPN America took over).

Supercasino must be cheaper to fill the overnight slot!
Hockey - or 'Field' Hockey as the Americans call it.

I well remember when GB got to the World Cup final and played against Germany. The press went wild (albeit for a short while). It was all over the TV. It started when GB beat Australia in the semi-final.

These days we only see any coverage when Hockey is featured in the Olympics.

I'd love to see BTCC shown on ITV1 instead of ITV4 which would attract a much wider audience. It's also disappointing how little coverage the Le Mans 24hr race gets tbh.

WRC Sad

Le Mans is live on Eurosport though but I imagine you are on about terrestrial TV?
It could also be argued that Rugby League, in the UK, doesn't get much terrestrial TV coverage.

The vast majority of the TV coverage is shown on subscription TV, i.e., Sky Sports. This, of course, only attracts a limited number of viewer's.
Table Tenniis doesn't get much airtime..

So do they show Table Tennis... no Rolleyes
They show Ping Pong instead.

It's Table Tennis with sandpaper covered bats.

It's like showing a football match with an old leather ball.
