Mo Farah
Katherine Grainger
Chris Hoy
Rory McIlroy
Andy Murray
Eleanor Simmonds
Sarah Storey
David Weir
Bradley Wiggins

I'd swap Adams (even though I like her) and Ainslie for Jade Jones and Ian Poulter. I'd swap Grainger for Trott, Trott really should be there. Trott not getting included is the one people are complaining about. I'd have liked to have seen Hannah Cockcroft as one of the twelve as well. A loaded year so it's hard to make a shortlist and leave worthy nominees out.

ty for agreeing about trott tdk how she never got in the shortlist after what she has achieved is unbelievable! not sure about her age but guessing shes too old for the young sports personality!
I wouldn't have Katherine Granger or Bradley Wiggins in there because their victories came as part of a team, would be happy for any of the other ones on the shortlist winning.
Weren't they all part of a team?
Team G.B.
Gold medalist and US open champ Andy Murray will not win. His uncle just confirmed this to me Sad
I think Bradley will win but I personally would prefer Jessica Ennis on two fronts the first because she is an incredible talent and the second because she is as horny as fuck!!
Should be Sir Chris Hoy, unfortunately like Murray, he isn't English
Not being English seems to be an advantage.

2007 - Wales (Calzaghe)
2008 - Scotland (Hoy)
2009 - Wales (Giggs)
2010 - Northern Ireland (McCoy)
2011 - Isle of Man (Cavendish)

Yeah, looks like the Scottish legends will be overlooked in favour of an English winner this year
First win for England, Steve. Josef Craig from South Shields.

Anyone know if he's a Geordie or a Mackem?
