The twelve nominees for the award will be revealed during The One Show on BBC One at 10pm tonight. My vote would either go with Wiggins, Farrah, Ennis or Murray.
Would have to be either Farrah or Wiggins for me

both deserve it for the sacrafices they really had to make to get to the top.

farah had to relocate to the US to train and the way he beat the ethopians and kenyans who have had a stranglehold on the long distances for decades

wiggnins for the fact its the tour de france but he did have a team with him if it wasnt for team orders chris froome might have won and be getting all the plaudits now but wiggo is a local now would be nice to have a Sports Personailty of the year
7,00pm not 10pm and everyone better vote for my jess babes!WinkHeartImportant
No brainer for me. Wiggins by a mile. The Tour de France is THE toughest sporting test there is imo and not only did he win but the way he dominated the race and never lost the yellow jersey once he got it says everything.
And then just to absolutely rubber stamp his credentials he wins a gold medal in the Olympics too.
Here's the twelve:

Nicola Adams
Ben Ainslie
Jessica Ennis
Mo Farah
Katherine Grainger
Chris Hoy
Rory McIlroy
Andy Murray
Eleanor Simmonds
Sarah Storey
David Weir
Bradley Wiggins

Well from that list whoever finishes in the top three there will be arguments for those that did'nt, whoever does win will be a well worthy winner.
Must admit I dont know who I'll be voting for, so many do deserve it and will be a rightful winner I would have liked to have seen Laura Trott on the list especially as she has continued to win events in the recent cycling world cup but who would you leave out?.
Wiggo for me.Won the Tour de France and Olympic Gold and also has a personality as well which has been absent from some of the winners in previous years
I think I know who CW will be voting for.....
