I'm not anti-Jessica, I just think if she's not happy with nudity and not happy with dealing with the kind of calls you're going to get on the night shift then maybe she should think about doing days instead.

Hang on there..

Anti-Jessica club? Hey, I started this thread when no other was around and I've been touting the vitues of giving her a chance and pointing out positives throughout, but that doesn't mean I'm blind to the negatives of her current performances or adverse to pointing out issues or others pointing out issues.

There's no use throwing out a label like that just to try and shame people into not posting negative thoughts or observations, particularily if justified. She can be sexy and I maintain she could be a good performer for the channel, but her recent performace has been sub-par and people are entitled to comment on such.

Not trying to shame anybody.. if some folk are saying she ought to be sacked then I guess thats their ultimate opinion.Rolleyes
A group of people who, after viewing something they don't like, choose not to turn over and watch something that they do like. Instead, they feel the need to come together and complain about what's on their tv and propose that it should either be what THEY want it to be or be off their screens completely.

Freedom of speech issue or not ... some of you guys are no better than Ofcom.

Now you're cherry picking an extreme minority of remarks, yet there has been no such remark made tonight to justify your response and labelling of those who have posted critique.

Most critisism posted is observational and for the most part constructive. You can't expect people to keep quiet and only post praise just because a girl is good looking, when people feel her actual performance and attitude towards the show and her callers is coming up short. It's absurd to elevate someone to a position beyond critisism simply because of their looks and it would make for an altogether disturbing and desolate discussion board if people were to do so.

I like the girl, I want to see her do well, but there are limits and good looks don't exempt her from scrutiny like anyone else.

And what great discussions there would be if people didn't express their views.

"Golly gee wiz ,Bill, that was spiffy"

"Yes, Bob, spiffy"

"Indeed"

"Quite"

"Absolutley"

"..."

"Oh blast something changed, better turn over before I form an opinion"

"Har Har, Bill, negative thoughts, next you'll be invading Poland"
Well, at least you didn't feel the need to recourse to sarcasm.
While all you guys are moaning about Jessica not getting her tits out, I'm patiently waiting to see her vulva. Tongue

It seemed only appropriate given the absurdity of comparing people forming their own opinions and expressing them on a discussion forum to censorship by a government body.
