have seen old clips of Nigel Mansell racing in 200 I think it was on Y/tube. did he do more than one season?
^1 race in 1993 (The TOCA Shootout) at Donington where he had the massive crash and 3 rounds in 1998 including a classic race in the wet, again at Donington.
He wasn't happy about being rear ended by Tiff Needell!!
Found this - Not Sure if it is 100 accurate or not but I'm sure some of you may find something more accurate!!

Pending further directives issued by the UK government regarding the coronavirus crisis, the BTCC plans to get its 2020 campaign underway on August 1-2 at Donington, the first of four rounds to take place in a month.
The season end is scheduled for November 14-15 at the Brands Hatch Grand Prix Circuit, concluding a crammed schedule of nine events across 16 weekends.

The only race to be dropped from the original 2020 calendar is the planned round at the Silverstone International Circuit, which would have marked the BTCC’s inaugural event using the full British Grand Prix layout.
BTCC chief Alan Gow said: “These are incredibly challenging times for the whole nation.

“Through it all, we have seen the importance of being both adaptable and pragmatic… and the BTCC is no different. So it’s entirely logical to draft plans and lock-in our provisional dates, with the ability to amend those if circumstances dictate.

“Obviously this calendar presents a hectic four months, with three separate back-to-back events and four events in the first five weeks alone.

"But our teams and drivers are fully up for the challenge – there’s such enormous energy, enthusiasm and passion for the BTCC that everyone will want to just roll up their sleeves and get the action underway when the time comes to go racing.

“However, the over-arching element will always be to ensure we have the correct procedures and protocols in place, in order to provide a safe environment.

“But before that time comes the most important thing we can all do is to please stay safe and also protect the health of others.”

Planned BTCC 2020 calendar:

1-2 August: Donington Park National
8-9 August: Brandsa Hatch Indy
22-23 August: Oulton Park Island
29-30 August: Knockhill
19-20 September: Thruxton
26-27 September: Silverstone National
10-11 October: Croft
24-25 October: Snetterton 300
14-15 November: Brands Hatch GP
That man Alan Gow is a top bloke.
I read that he's had the PPV broadcasters waving money under his nose to screen his circus but he woun't bite.
He's happy with his multi-year deal with ITV 4 for less on Freeview. They put on an eight hour show using the remants of the ITV F1 crew that won BAFTA's and fronted still by Steve Ryder who's ex-Grandstand.
The downside might be that there's few works teams now but I'd favour plucky Brummies in their own cars over multinationals.
Great to see this back. Important
They had an accident, no two accidents in the forst lap!!
I watched their tribute to Murray, the best tribute I've seen I think.
Watch out for the driver listed as EDWA that's Jade Edwards, the only lady in the grid of 29. Jason Plato's back too.
