In the build-up to Last Jedi, I decided to watch all the previous Star Wars in order.

It's the first time I re-watched the prequels and, God, it's been painful.

I thought they were each pretty shit when I saw them the first time around, but this time I didn't even have the enthusiasm of seeing "the new Star Wars movie" to carry me through. Just utterly painful.

Hard to pick the worst of the three, to be honest. Phantom Menace seems to be built around the talking frog and that kid that can't act and it ends with a couple of 'battle scenes' that are just early-days CGI wankfests. A bitching light saber fight though...

Attack of the Clones might have been saved by the whole Obi-Wan versus the bounty hunter detective story ... but it also had all those unwatchable bits of cringe-worthy dialogue between Anakin and Natalie Portman. Just awful.

Then Sith had a couple of decent moments, but it all builds toward a monumental letdown. That moment when you realise that three entire movies -- over six hours of your life! -- have built-up to a bullshit scene where Anakin turns into an automated, asthmatic version of a B-movie Frankenstein. It also puts Chewbacca through the indignity of screaming like Tarzan while swinging from a vine over an ocean that doesn't appear to have any trees whatsoever in sight. (At least I think it was Chewbacca. At the risk of sounding racist, the Wookies all look the same to me...)

George Bloody Lucas! He took the most beloved franchise in the history of cinema and turned it into a shit sandwich.

...but if I had to pick one as "worst film"...?

Phantom Menace.

Talking frog ... nuff said.
I've seen some utter pap in my life as a film fan.In recent times Prometheus and Alien : Covenant are two standouts. Also Predators and the AVP efforts are all dire.Going further back I remember some terrible martial arts films especially Game Of Death II.However, the all time worst film I have ever seen is Jaws The Revenge(1987).The entire film revolves around an unconvincing great white shark that has a personal vendetta against the next generation of the Brody family. The unmatted version of the film is even worse than the widescreen version though, several shots clearly show the mechanical gimble and the engine can also be heard ticking over too.Utterly atrocious acting as well even from Michael Caine, who missed out on picking up his Oscar in person because he was filming this crime against cinema.
Hercules in New York

It’s so terrible that it’s good, Arnold Schwarzenegger first film or Arnold Strong as he was known as.
Fake bear with a man in a suit, Arnold tripping over a pavement and they kept it in. They use the same music over and over again. Mount Olympus was filed in a park and can see the brick wall and even hear traffic in the background it’s so bad that it’s funny lol Bounce
Wouldn't say it was the worst but The Abyss had the worst and most complicated ending, let alone disappointing end to a film I've ever seen-made no sense.
The Star Wars one in the middle trilogy that looks like a crap video game. Had the Trainspotting guy in it, nearly destroyed his career I should imagine.

Was that the one when they dubbed someone else’s voice over Schwarzenegger’s?

Abomination of a movie but hilariously funny in a way as well.
Lot worse films than Herc in NY. Arnie did a comedy Western with Kirk Douglas which is much lousier.

Yeah there was two versions the dubbed version because of his thick Austrian accent and a version with his real voice lol.
Dragonball z not sure what year i think 2007 it had james masters in it (spike from buffy) absolutely terrible
Jeepers Creepers (2017) movie is one of the worst horror movie I ever seen! The whole movie was a whole pile of horseshit - not scary at all, bad acting all round, really cheap, horrible graphic & the plot is all over the place! It was more a funny, horror comedy than anything. How I watch it from start to finished it to the end - when I really should of change the channel or switch off this shit horror movie I'll never know?! THIS MOVIE SHOULD BE AVOID AT ALL COST!! IT JUST PLAIN ABYSMAL!!

Thank god I didn't waste my money watching at the cinema with friends as I would of walked out the cinema! First, Jeepers Creepers (2001) is a masterpiece horror movie imho & I do enjoy Jeepers Creepers 2 (2003), even had it on DVD, not as scary as JC 1 but enjoyable all the same, but JC 3 is nothing like the first two!
