normally I don't mind clare's rants and opinons on twitter as they are often very entertaining but I think with this one she has crossed the line and gone too far with what she's said here. whoever it was clearly felt so bad that they wanted to end their life and there will now be a family devastated by what's happened

I am very lucky in that I have never had to experience loss of someone committing suicide but I feel instinctively a suicide is not something I can understand so my reaction is not to say anything.
I know we all pontificate on these forums and share our opinions, but I think (and thank you for this Clare) it reenforces the need to find the off switch sometimes.
As someone pointed out, Clare has lost someone to cancer and it would be unpleasant to suggest that because he/she smoked/drank/had a poor diet that they should have been abandon by the NHS because "they cost me the tax payer, money". None of us are blameless, and things impact us all the time. They key is having the grace and the wit to understand it and leave a topic alone rather than reveal what lies beneath. It's a fine line between honesty and ignorance
To be perfectly honest i am sick and tired of this woman. Yeah sure she is hot but her attitude is disgusting and i personally will be boycotting Clare in terms of phone calls. She sees us who pay her wages as scum and i am not prepared to give her anymore of my hard earned money.

While I admire your decision to boycott Clare when she's on S66, I reckon she'll still get plenty of calls as she is both gorgeous, very good on the phones and most people will be blissfully unaware of her somewhat prickly and selfish attitude.
It seems to me that Clare, along with other performers, want privacy in the social media world when they go topless on TV and talk dirty to men who masturbate but are quite happy to live reasonably comfortably off the earnings from this work. Of course we are all, to some degree, hypocrites but this is a prime example of wanting the best of both worlds. I don't know Clare but her persona on Twitter suggests that she has yet to undergo the Copernican revelation - the world doesn't revolve around her.

Does her Mum and Dad approve or is the self absorbtion down to them and her upbringing in the first place?

Clare seems to believe that she has an absolute right to air her opinion even when it is loathsomely selfish. This belief is mistaken, particularly for somebody who is in the 'personal services'/glamour industry, and almost childish in its naivety. Some opinions are clearly unacceptable - racism is much less tolerated now than a generation ago and I'd also like to think (without too much irony

Claire is allowed her opinion but when you put that opinion out in a public forum, like Twitter, you are giving people the right to response to your opinion and to judge it. I understand that we've all had those days where we have to be somewhere and something interrupts that however this is an extremely rare and horrible event and in those circumstances I don't think you have the right to complain about it interrupting your schedule. Ultimately this may have annoyed Claire but she didn't have to post what she did where she did, some opinions should remain private.
