I have always been intrigued by the appeal of the DTW given the restrictions we all operate under. Is it the forbidden fruit concept that makes it exciting or genuinely a need to have a DTW as I would assume there are more obvious ways to expedite this need. It's a bit of both (for me at least), the thrill of knowing that what u r doing is breaking the rules and also u get an urge from time to time when u see a girl who is helping someone else out or moving around in a sexy way. Also there is the appeal of not knowing if it will happen or not. If u r trying a girl out 4 the 1st time and u don't know if she will or not, but then she does, it is doubly-satisfying, 1 for the 'DTW' and 2 for finding out that she is up 4 it and knew what u were doing all along.
Plus there are all the different variations that make it exciting, what will she say? How far will she go? Etc. Etc.

Main appeal for me is I'm knackered by 9pm so nights are no good lol ....nights are also too full on and mechanical like a convey belt sometimes ...days can be like a date if you want with a bit of chat. flirt and then letting the girl openly hear you cum ...which is pretty inevitable really and natural. As NB says there is also the thrill factor of it being slightly out of bounds and also the unknown factor of the call.

As others have written, it's the excitement of the unknown, the thrill of breaking the rules and above all it's so much more subtle and varied than the mechanical crap repeated ad nauseum on the night shows.
