Sure was, gotta love Carol she's one mean bitch Big Laugh
great ep, cant wait for the next ep after the final scene.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Sam And Deans in Supernatural) has been cast as Villain Negan in The Walking Dead.
If it was,nt for Game of Thrones this would be the best show on TV, great midseason cliffhanger last night and there will a few casualties when the show resumes, enjoyed the teaser for Negan as well.
Couldn't disagree more. This show had the potential to be great but seems to be now going nowhere and we're halfway through season 6. No doubt Negan will be another Governor type.

The argument that I've watched 6 and a half seasons so I can't give up on it is running thin. The Glenn, is he isn't he dead thing may have been the final straw. So clear that the inner core of characters are 'safe' - Rick, Michionne, Daryl, Carol, Carl, Maggie, Glenn. Weighing up whether to return for part 2 of season 6 or cut my losses. Glad I did after season 2 of Dexter and miss 7 more seasons of dross.

GoT was very good tv but the quality in season 5 clearly dipped. As a book reader its clear Martin had written himself into a bit of a corner (mainly with the Daenerys storyline) and therefore the tv producers are going largely into unknown territory as he has been struggling for years now to produce Winds of Winter. I know that he has broadly outlined where he intends the books to go but it would still be better if they had finished books to adapt. Having said that, even as a book reader, some of the changes that they've made from the storylines of the books have been for the better.

As for GoT and The Walking Dead being the two best shows on tv! Clearly you haven't seen either Fargo or The Leftovers. The writing and acting in these two shows is at least equal if not better than GoT and way better than The Walking Dead.
I have not seen fargo as it is a channel 4 programme, The leftovers i found to be dull and uninteresting with few if any likeable characters. As for game of thrones it was always going to be hard to maintain the incredibly high standard of the first four seasons and the walking dead is a zombie apocalypse series so the writers are limited in the directions to which they can take the characters, but at least i care about them. And if the writers follow the same storyline as the comics then you will have a couple of major shocks to look forward to.

PS While i tend to agree with you about Dexter, series 4 is superb and well worth watching.
I think with walking dead the writers tend to stick with source material but that wont stop them from doing their thing in line with the overall story. season 5 of GoT was below the standards of the previous 4 seasons, even the cgi naked lady was poor has you could clearly see that head and the body were different.

I think writers and producers should always have an ending to the show therefore they know roughly where point b which allows them for example the final ep of leverage was written has the final ep for season1 if the show had been cancelled but they saved it and changed elements of to fit the final season.

I will be glad when it returns because it is by far one of the best series on tv.
