Zenit have said they will take 15 mill for him and left it to the player to decide if he wanted to go! Arsenal were expected to meet that demand. Arshavin went to london today hoping that the personal terms could be agreed and a medical done etc just to help the deal go through smoothly before the deadline! He'd even booked a hotel to stay but now hes going home ! Haha!

Hate to disagree with you but I really dont think you can justify £15 mill for him, He had a good tournament for Russia and a decent season for Zenit last year but I would pay no more than £9m or £10m for him!
Anyway if his wage demands are anything to go by he wont be joining the premiership any time soon!

I dont know how much he is demanding but the wages to play in russian football are meant to be ludicrous! Gary O Connor played in Russia and took a 50% pay cut to join Birmingham City! He was on about 50k a week in russia.... and lets face it he's no Andre Arshavin !!!!
