Series 5 will not feature Bran or Hodor at all. They will however, return for season 6 and all future series as Bran is going to be fundamental to the end story. The reason given for them missing series 5 is that they advanced the storyline of Bran and his companions in series 4 much quicker than in the books. I had noticed this in the season finale where they escape the walkers.
Series 4 is out on dvd in Feb 2015 prior to the series 5 premiere. ☺
It makes you wonder if they will use the same actor on his return.
His voice was breaking in the last series. So in two years time he'll be six foot tall and be one of our many contributors.

It seems he is remaining in the role. As his role is as advanced as far as the books currently go it is possible that the character will be older when the next book gets its eventual release.
I shall miss Hodor though and his witty dialogue
I personally would love to see tony curren on goh a truly great actor example defiance and pilliars of the earth
Filming is presently taking place in Spain's Alcazar Palace
But Danish actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau wasn't recognised by the staff and they charged him the 9.50 euro entrance fee
Session 5's filming has now been completed and can be viewing next April.
